Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board or institution are eligible to register for the CA Foundation exam. The registration process for the exam usually starts six months before the exam, and candidates need to submit the required documents and pay the examination fees to complete the registration process.l

CA intermediate 

CA Intermediate is the second level of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It can be taken by students who have completed their CA Foundation course or by graduates who wish to pursue a career in accountancy.

The CA Intermediate course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to work in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance. The course is divided into two groups, with four papers in each group, which are as follows:

The first group includes papers on Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, and Corporate and Economic Laws. The second group includes papers on Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation, Elective Paper, Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, and Indirect Tax Laws.

To be eligible to appear for the CA Final exam, candidates must have completed the CA Intermediate course and have completed at least two and a half years of practical training under a practicing chartered accountant.

Candidates who pass both groups of the CA Final exam are eligible to apply for membership of the ICAI and use the designation of Chartered Accountant.
